About

We are the Junior League of Buffalo

Above all else, our goal is to promote and perpetuate social change in the Western New York communities that will benefit most from it. By empowering women and providing valuable leadership training, we are giving local women the tools to get involved, put their talents to work, and positively impact the communities of Western New York.

Strength in Numbers

As one of hundreds of Junior League chapters across the world, we are a member of the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. (AJLI). Founded in 1919, the Junior League of Buffalo plays an integral part in the development, improvement, and support of the communities of Western New York. It is one of 296 Junior Leagues in four countries comprising the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. Junior League of Buffalo members will observe the 90th anniversary in the 2008 – 2009 League year by celebrating the remarkable impact the organization has made in Western New York through the development of women as leaders and support to the community.
